Breitling

Breitling is a Swiss luxury watchmaker founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling and is based in in Grenchen, Switzerland. Inventor of the modern chronograph, Breitling is well known for its precision-made chronometers designed for aviators, and is one of only a handful of watchmakers producing their own movements.

Breitling’s product portfolio is structured around three historic universes: Air, Land and Sea. Some of the company’s most sought-after historic models include PREMIER, NAVITIMER, SUPEROCEAN, and CHRONOMAT. All of Breitling’s movements are chronometer certified by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), which is a marker for the highest standards of watchmaking.

With its aim to realize a legendary future, Breitling redefined itself as “a generalist Swiss watch brand offering a cool, informal and inclusive alternative” to traditional watchmakers while carrying forward the most important aspects of its heritage . It was the 5th largest independent Swiss watchmaker at the end of 2022.
